Pros: I really like the Access controls for users. With this the administrator can avoid users without proper authorization clearance, entering transactions or making any changes to customers data. SAP ERP even has the option of integrating with different software. Support team is always ready to help and all our problems are solved in no time by the technical team.

Cons: A bit difficult to understand at first and it requires proper training and practice to use this software. This software can only be feasible for large organizations as the set p and running costs are too high. The software itself is very dry to use and it gets boring with the same job for an employee.

Pros: So widely deployed you can google it in even some of the more detailed areas.

Cons: Sap just stopped innovating. All their attempts just seem to be more superficial or just infrastructure (e.g. Net weaver or Hana) I suspect their installed base tied their hands to make any real changes but they have only now made a marginal effort for S4.

Pros: What i like about this software is that it is very easy to learn and understand, it also has restrictions if you enter an invalid code or insufficient quantity which serves as a great error proofing. A very useful one specially for inventory.

Comment: SAP can be very useful to your company if you carry a heavy load of inventory.

Pros: SAP allows you to achieve multiple finance and operations goals. You can program it to allow you to do various operations tasks such as creating invoices, purchase orders, inventory, bill backs, etc. It allows the entire company to access important files across the world. Overall, you can accomplish a lot with this program.

Cons: The service itself is a bit complicated. I find that doing a simple task such as creating invoices takes several long steps that are confusing and time consuming. SAP also longs you off after only a few minutes with out use. SAP is also a very delicate system where any small error will send you into a tailspin to try to figure out what exactly went wrong.

Cons: This software is kind a expensive, and it take many months to get implemented, so sometimes some customers does not like the time, and specially the cost of it, but i think it worth it.

Comment: SAP ERP is an extremely robust software for businesses seeking solutions to streamline their operations. I would certainly recommend it to others.

Pros: SAP ERP is an industry in itself. The vast number of business solutions it provides to businesses, which includes planning and purchasing, manufacturing, QA and QC testing, etc. is very useful. Various modules of SAP ERP appropriately fit into the scheme of designing a stable and robust business model. This software indeed provides a one stop shop for all departments to function seamlessly. I am highly satisfied with this software.

Cons: Owing to the complexity of the software, beginners may find it tough to learn different modules. In-field service could be potentiated to provided prompt business solutions. As far as functionality is concerned, there is no issue whatsoever.

Comment: You can make SAP do anything - it's all about cost and risk. Operational systems are usually better being external so that if SAP is down for patching, upgrades etc, the company's work continues. SAP Payroll is normally implemented as a separate install to prevent interference so make sure any budget covers interface between SAP instances. When implemented as part of business transformational projects it delivers and once implemented continues to provide process improvement opportunities.

Comment: I was not involved in the selection process but it can be used in most industries, from medium to large companies. Smaller firms may not profit as much from using SAP.

Pros: It does a good job of reporting by Area or Region of the country and the world. It gives good details of each transaction with the ability to show changes and the reason for the change. It can show the GP for the transaction the following day it has invoiced. It gives the correct details for each customer and can be customized by how the reports are shown.

Cons: The documentation for SAP is hard to find and search for. It would be great if there was an undo button if you make a mistake.

Comment: SAP has loads of features and resources that can help a large business. There are so many resources and tutorials that can also help to make the integration more seamless. It's a product that's been around for quite awhile so it's more trusted in the business. A lot of companies use SAP and it's just one of those tried and true things. It also integrates well with other systems used here at Shure, which has made our processes more seamless. It has organized processes and made them more efficient

Pros: It is not the most user-friendly. I think that the vast amount of features can make it a bit confusing. I also think that its interface is very clunky. It took me quite awhile to figure things out and get things right with SAP. I was annoyed at how much I had to Google and ask questions and attend trainings just to understand this product.

Cons: There are so many resources available online to make your experience more simple. This product is very pricey so don't invest until you've really researched your options and really know that this will be the best product for your team. You really have to weigh the pros and cons, but if it works well, it will really make things more efficient for your company.

Pros: Robust system; powerful features. Was able to provide efficiencies with the payment process, easier to research and identify the underlying transactions when performing analytical reviews. Had strong capabilities for complex consolidation structures and multi-country currencies.

Cons: Complex and time consuming conversion process. Required a lot of time during the testing and researching mapping issues phases of the conversion. Important to have a well-trained superuser in each location that can assist other team members during and after the conversion process. Pros: I like SAP because it makes my job life more easier to get the important tasks done in a timely manner. Our organization can also create custom made reports to fit each department's needs. It is a fast system, up to date, and works very well for me and my job responsibilities.

Cons: You have to open separate windows to do multiple tasks. I wish I do multiple job tasks all on one session instead of opening numerous sessions to do more than one task. I may need the other window open to review some information and cannot do all that on the same window.
